CONTRACTUAL, initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period, depending on satisfactory performance, age and continued requirement, in exceptional cases, a longer initial period can be considered.
Location NHB Headquarters at NEW DELHI
Job Description Officer is responsible for

  • Making necessary arrangements for official and other engagements of CMD and Directors
  • Protocol, logistics and other arrangements for visits / meetings of CMD/ Directors/ dignitaries at the Bank Headquarters
  • Liaise with Government of India and reserve Bank of India
  • Any other assigned duties, from time to time.
Job Profile
  • The officer will be attached to CMD’s Secretariat and report to AGM (CMD Secretariat),
  • Maintain good links with Senior Executives of the Bank, RBI, Government Officials, Security Authorities, etc.
Competencies The officer should have pleasant disposition and good interpersonal skills.

  • Possess good organizing and management capabilities;
  • Have good bearing and presence and be able to interact effectively with senior functionaries.;
  • be able to easily adapt to changing situations and work well with peers in a demanding environment
  • be able to work long and irregular hours, as and when required
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution/University, relaxable in exceptional cases, particularly armed forces, para-military forces, where substantial relevant experience and good track record can be demonstrated. Officer must be a graduate from a recognized University.

Officer with minimum five years service in Indian Army/ Navy/Air Force, Serving/decommissioned in the rank not below Captain/Lieutenant/Flight Lieutenant respectively or served through Short Service Commission (SSC), and having minimum 3 years of experience as Protocol and Liaison duties with banks/ financial institutions
Officer with minimum eight years in any reputed public sector/central Government undertaking with minimum 3 years experience in protocol / public relations /publicity

Preference will be given to candidates with

  1. Good Oral and written communications
  2. Knowledge on using personal computer and mobile phones and willing to travel frequently
  3. Personal accommodation in Delhi and own conveyance (4 wheeler)
  4. Experience in working with financial institutions/establishments
Age The upper age should not exceed 62 years as on 01/11/2007
Remuneration Consolidated Monthly Gross Emoluments of Rs. 25,000/-
Benefits would include Conveyance/Vehicle Maintenance Allowance and telephone reimbursements. Accommodation could be considered, subject to availability, for which deduction would be made as per rules.
